Manage your app

Create and manage projects

Keep each app’s releases, addresses, resources, and usage together.

An app with its address, activity, and resources in one place

Create a project

Ask your agent to create a project, or let the first ship operation create one while planning your app. Creating an empty project does not start a server or spend deployment credits.

Use a short name with lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens when creating a project through MCP. Start with a letter. The name can be up to 40 characters.

Prompt
Create a Shipped project named recipe-book.
Then plan a deployment from this app folder for my review.

Open a project

Select the project’s name in Projects. Its detail page opens immediately. Overview shows activity; Deployments shows releases; Resources lists managed databases; Domains controls the address; Logs shows app output; Settings contains project controls.

Change the name

Open Settings, edit the name, and save. Renaming the project does not rename its public address. Use Domains when you want to change the URL.

Keep changes in the right workspace

A token belongs to the workspace where you created it. Use project IDs when your agent needs to identify an existing app. For a project with staging, specify staging or production explicitly before planning a deployment.
