Find the tools your agent uses to plan, deploy, inspect, and manage an app.

A coding agent connected to Shipped and your app

Plan and deploy

  • create_project: create an empty named project.
  • plan_deployment: package source and prepare a plan without executing it.
  • ship: package and plan an app, then return readiness or the next required approval.
  • check_deployment: inspect readiness for a specific plan.
  • quote_deployment: request the deployment’s credit quote.
  • apply_credits: approve the exact quote after your confirmation.
  • deploy_plan: execute an approved plan on the selected destination.
  • deployment_status: follow an accepted operation.

Inspect your app

  • inspect_project: list projects or read one project and its releases.
  • inspect_resources: read managed resource state without credentials.
  • logs: read bounded application output.
  • rollback: restore a previous compatible release after confirmation.
  • pause_project: stop application compute after confirmation. Use Start app in the portal to resume.

Work with staging

ship and plan_deployment accept a target with projectId and environment set to staging or production. A paired project requires this explicit target. Promotion then uses the usual readiness, quote, credit approval, and deployment tools.

  • inspect_environments: read the production and staging pair.
  • create_staging_environment: create an independent staging project without starting compute.
  • plan_promotion: prepare production deployment of the exact healthy staging image.

Manage billing and addresses

Your agent discovers each tool’s current input schema when it connects. Keep operation IDs and idempotency keys on retries. Do not guess a new key for an action whose result is still pending.

  • billing_status: read balances, limits, and recent activity.
  • purchase_credits: prepare an explicitly approved credit purchase.
  • get_payment_status: check the payment result.
  • update_spending_limits: change the exact reviewed limits.
  • set_subdomain: request a priced friendly-address change.
  • inspect_domain: check address and recovery state.
  • cancel_domain_change / recover_domain_change: cancel or retry a stalled change after confirmation.
